The 7th Phoenix Merinos production sale took place on Wednesday 5 September 2018 at the Botanics Sports Club, Graaff-Reinet.

At the sale, 39 selected Phoenix rams sold for an average price of R 6,100 per head. The highest price was achieved by lot number 4, sold by William Biggs to Francois Botha of Kareelaagte, Graaff-Reinet for R 16,000. The buyer of the most rams (8) was Kolbe Kolver Trust of Philippolis.

The Phoenix Merinos breeders express a sincere thanks to all of their buyers, and to all sponsors, namely Octofin and Ceva who were joint headline sponsors, as well as Ascendis, MSD and StockFair. Auctioneer Gert Jordaan and his team from BKB are also thanked for their professional service.

The 8th Phoenix Merinos sale will be held during February 2019.

At our Feb 2017 auction all lots sold for an average of R 7,200.
